At True North Kindergarten, we believe in guiding young minds toward their fullest potential through a nurturing, child-centered approach. Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that every child is unique, with their own interests, strengths, and ways of learning. We value children’s natural curiosity, encouraging them to explore, discover, and engage with the world around them in meaningful ways.
Our program is designed to create a safe and inspiring environment where children can thrive. Through a blend of structured activities and open-ended exploration, we support the development of critical thinking, creativity, and social skills. Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which recognizes children as strong, capable individuals who actively participate in their own learning journey.
At True North Kindergarten, we work closely with families to build a supportive community for each child’s growth. We are committed to fostering a lifelong love of learning, guiding our young explorers as they navigate their early years of education with confidence and joy.
At True North Kindergarten, we offer a dynamic bilingual curriculum that holistically nurtures children through both Vietnamese and English. For our youngest learners, aged 1–3 years, we adopt a play-based and inquiry-guided approach. This method allows children to explore, discover, and learn naturally in both languages, fostering their curiosity and early language development.
As children grow, our curriculum evolves to meet their changing needs. For children aged 3–5 years, we introduce the World of Wonders program, which supports English development through engaging, research-based activities. For our oldest students, aged 5–6 years, we utilize the Wonders program to build a solid foundation in literacy skills, preparing them for a seamless transition to formal schooling.
Beyond the core curriculum, we provide specialized classes in Art and Design, Science and Exploration, Physical Education, and Dance. These classes offer children opportunities to explore their creativity, deepen their understanding of the world, and develop physical skills, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Our bilingual approach, combined with diverse specialized classes, ensures that children at True North Kindergarten become proficient in both Vietnamese and English, equipping them with the skills and confidence to thrive in a multicultural world.
The nutrition program at True North is not only a skillful combination of delicious meals but also a colorful journey to nurture both the body and soul of our students. This program is delivered in collaboration with Joma Kitchen, a trusted catering provider for international schools.
The goal of the nutrition program at True North goes beyond offering tasty meals and age-appropriate nutrition. It aims to cultivate independence, physical development, and motor skills while fostering polite and gracious dining habits. Through this, students learn to understand their own needs, build a love for food, and develop healthy eating habits.
The menu is designed in accordance with nutritional guidelines for preschool students, ensuring a balanced mix of food groups and a variety of daily portions. Students are served breakfast, an afternoon snack with two options (a dry dish and a liquid dish such as porridge or soup) accompanied by fresh Da Lat milk or low-sugar yogurt, and a main lunch featuring five choices (two vegetable sides, a main dish, fragrant rice, and fresh fruit).
Additionally, the kitchen is designed with a one-way workflow, and the food procurement and preparation process is strictly monitored to ensure food hygiene and safety. This also guarantees that each dish retains the highest nutritional value for the students.

We continuously innovate and create diverse dishes inspired by various global cuisines, including Italian, German, Thai, and Korean.
We believe that providing a safe and healthy dining environment is not only the foundation for the holistic development of students but also a critical step in forming lifelong healthy eating habits and lifestyles for the future.
