ADMISSION REGULATIONS

Priority Order for Admission

The priority order for admission at True North Kindergarten is applied based on seat availability at the time of enrollment and in the following sequence:

  • ◻️ Students who are biological or legally adopted children of employees of foreign        embassies in Vietnam, staff of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), or                employees of companies/corporations that are partners of the school.

    ◻️Students who have siblings currently studying at True North Kindergarten and             are biological or legally adopted children of the parents.

    ◻️Students currently enrolled in schools within the school system.

    ◻️Students belonging to other categories.

Admission Age

True North Kindergarten admits students aged 12 months to 5 years, corresponding to each age group.

Regulations on the Number of Students

The school sets the following student class size limits:

◻️ 12 - 24 months: 15 students per class

◻️24 - 36 months: 18 students per class

◻️3 - 4 years old: 18 students per class

◻️4 - 5 years old: 18 students per class

◻️5 - 6 years old: 18 students per class

In certain exceptional cases, the class size may be adjusted, either increased or decreased, with prior notice to parents.

Conditions for Enrollment Registration

Students must not have infectious diseases, dangerous congenital diseases, or special educational needs (due to the school's current care conditions and facilities not being equipped to meet the special needs of students).

Admission Process

Step 1: Register for enrollment

Step 2: Admission of students who are in the priority group and meet the enrollment requirements.

Step 3: Students take the entrance exam.

Step 4: Parents complete the admission procedures for students who pass the entrance exam.

Step 5: Students officially enroll as per the school's notice.

Pre-admission selection

All new students must pass the pre-admission selection organized by the school.

Teachers will interact directly with the students through age-appropriate activities such as conversations and educational games, and engage with the parents and/or guardians of the students.

Additionally, the parents and/or guardians will also be interviewed on the same day.

One recent 4×6 passport-sized photo of the new student (taken within the last month, digital version).

One certified copy of the student’s birth certificate (hard copy) or one certified copy of the student’s passport..

One general health check-up certificate for the student, signed by a doctor and stamped by a medical authority, issued within the last month (digital version).

For foreign students: A health certificate issued by an authorized health authority in the home country, dated within six months before arrival in Vietnam.

One 4x6 passport-sized photo of student's biological father (Digital version).

One 4×6 passport-sized photo of the student’s biological mother (digital version).

One 4×6 passport-sized photo of the guardian registering to pick up the student at school (digital version, for students in Year 1 or Year 2).

For foreign nationality students: One certified copy of the passports of both parents (hard copy), along with one copy of the temporary residence card (digital version).
